Our team delivered an AI impact diligence, assessing how rapid advances in AI introduce both risk and opportunity across specialised audit & accounting services to the crypto-native assets  

Bridgepoint has agreed to acquire HT Digital, a company operating at the intersection of digital-asset infrastructure, compliance and accounting services. The transaction reflects the strong demand and appetite for highly specialised accounting services to support crypto-native firms navigate the ever-changing landscape and regulations.  

Singulier’s mandate centred on evaluating the material impact of automation and AI specifically in its potential risks and opportunities. The work assessed the extent to which AI can accelerate service delivery processes, the room for automation and reduce operational friction, and create new competitive dynamics while also examining the risks and opportunities related to the underlying business fundamentals. 

This diligence builds directly on our experience delivering AI assessments across B2B service sectors, where AI is increasingly influencing cost structures, differentiation and resilience. Bridgepoint’s investment supports the company’s next phase of growth as digital-asset markets formalise and technology expectations rise.

HT Digital provides specialised auditing and accounting services for the crypto industry, combining proprietary tooling with highly specialised domain expertise to support institutions navigating this evolving regulatory and technical environment. 

Three elements underpin our approach here: 

  1. Established sector credentials, providing the context to interrogate service delivery workflows and the impact of automation, given client needs, value-add, business model, and industry-specific dynamics. 
  1. Technical fluency in AI, allowing proper evaluation of model capabilities, constraints, and integration pathways (adapted to the status quo of the given industry’s level of automation and technology adoption). 
  1. Knowledge accumulated from a large number of AI due diligence across industries, sharpening our ability to isolate where value moves as the technology evolves.
