Singulier* and your privacy

This policy explains what information we collect from you, how it’s used, and how you can manage or delete any information about you that we hold.

What information do we collect?

Sometimes we’ll ask you to fill out a form on our website. For example, to register for an event, to enquire about our products and services, or to apply to open positions to join Singulier as a recruit. We will only use your personal information for another purpose if you have explicitly given us the permission to do so by ticking the permission box on the form that you have submitted.

Almost all websites use cookies – small text files that are stored on your device – to make the user experience better and ours is no exception. We use third-party cookies from services like Google Analytics which, while they give us lots of data, can’t be used to identify you personally.

We also access this data via third-party services like Google Analytics, but we’re not interested in using it to identify you personally.

How do we use your data?

If you’ve given us permission, we will use your data to send you (hopefully relevant) marketing communications. This could be email newsletters, invitations to events, or other information about our services that we think you will be interested in. We will only contact you via the contact details that you have given to us, and only on the subjects that you have opted in to.

We do conduct profiling based on the personal data you submit to us, for instance the organisation you work for, the location of your job, and your job role. We use this information to ensure that the marketing communications you have opted in for are relevant and specific for your need. And of course, if you find our believe that our communications are not relevant you can of course opt out from them by unsubscribing from the email, or by contacting us at contact@singulier.io with ‘UNSUBSCRIBE as your email title.

How do we keep your data safe?

All the forms we use, including those on third-party sites, use SSL encryption. Your personal data is only accessible by appropriately trained Singulier staff, and not by other third parties.

Not all the personal data we hold is stored on our own servers. For example, our customer relationship marketing software (by which we mostly mean email) runs operations outside the European Economic Area (EEA). By submitting your personal information to us you agree to this transfer, storing or processing at a location outside the EEA.

If required to do so by law, we may have to share your personal information with the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisors. In any other circumstances, we’ll only share your data with third-parties if we have your explicit and informed consent to do so.
