OMMAX and Singulier Group Appoint Lutz Finger as Chief AI Officer (CAIO), Strengthening its AI Leadership in Europe
July 15 2026

OMMAX and Singulier Group, Europe’s leading AI-native consultancy and engineering platform, today announced the appointment of Lutz Finger as Chief AI Officer, effective July 15, 2026. Based in Munich, Finger joins from Silicon Valley, where he most recently served as Head of AI at XGEN and as a Venture Partner at Cherry Ventures.
The appointment deepens the firm‘s senior AI leadership as the firm accelerates its pan-European expansion following its 2026 merger with Singulier.
Singulier welcomes Lutz Finger as Head of AI

Finger brings over two decades of hands-on experience building AI-driven products and platforms at some of the world’s most influential technology companies, including Google, LinkedIn, and Snap. At LinkedIn, he built the AI-driven product “People Like Me” as Director of Data Science. At Google, he launched as Group Product Manager at Google Health, developing innovative services for healthcare providers. He is a serial entrepreneur with two successful exits: Fisheye Analytics, a social media analytics platform sold to Kantar (WPP) in 2013, and R2Decide, an AI-driven decision tooling company sold to XGEN AI in 2025.
In addition to his industry career, Finger has been a faculty member at Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business since 2015, teaching courses on AI strategy, data products, and product development. He developed Cornell’s eCornell certificate programme on AI; an end-to-end guide used by executives worldwide to move from AI concepts to real implementations. He also serves on the Supervisory Board of Scout24 SE and is a frequent contributor to Forbes on AI and the future of commerce. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Quantum Physics from Technische Universität Berlin.
“Together with Lutz as CAIO we will further follow our mission to build AI-leaders in Europe by connecting boardroom conversations about AI with the reality of delivering solutions that work in production,” said Toni Stork, CEO of OMMAX. “Lutz has done exactly that at Google, at LinkedIn, at Snap, and as a founder twice over. His combination of engineering depth, strategic clarity, and teaching ability is rare, and it fits precisely into what we are building at OMMAX.”
“OMMAX and Singulier Group is where AI strategy becomes production-ready technology and that is exactly where I want to build,” said Lutz Finger. “European enterprises have enormous AI potential and a significant opportunity to turn promising ideas and prototypes into secure, scalable agent workflows. OMMAX provides the expertise to make that transition successfully. I have spent two decades turning AI into products that people use. Now I want to do that at scale, with European companies.”
The appointment comes as the group continues its rapid expansion across Europe. Following its acquisition of French AI engineering firm Singulier in 2026, OMMAX and Singulier group now has more than 400 digital and AI professionals across offices in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Milan.
Since its founding in 2011, the firm has completed more than 4,000 digital transformation projects and maintains a Net Promoter Score of 90. In 2026, the group was named one of Germany’s leading management consultancies by brand eins/Statista and has been backed by Eurazeo since its investment in 2025.
